Grandma's at Townsville QLD is looking for a qualified baker or pastry chef. All our products are baked from scratch, and we take pride in using the best quality ingredients sourced onsite and locally. Responsibilities include: Baking a wide range of high-quality bakery products Operating multiple machines. Training will be provided Making different types of artisan breads, doughs, puff pastry, savoury and sweet pies, muffins, banana bread, cookies, cakes, and scones. Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods Preparing pastry fillings and desserts listed on the menu Cleaning all equipment, utensils, and working area Qualifications: Certificate III in Patisserie or Bakery is preferred. Experience: Minimum 12 months' work experience is preferred. Additional Requirements: Possess a sound knowledge of food safety and safe work practices Be competent and experienced in all aspects of baking Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking Maintain high-quality standards Possess strong time management and problem-solving skills Have a team player attitude and high attention to detail Speak and read good English We offer a competitive salary package, ongoing training and development, and a great team environment.
