About the company: Based in Brisbane, this organisation specialises in Control Systems and Electrical Engineering, providing advanced solutions focused on the water and wastewater sectors.This growing group is dedicated to elevating industry standards through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering excellence in water-related projects.Position Overview: They are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a strong Brisbane team for an immediate start.In this role, you will collaborate with management to develop sophisticated automation and control systems with a strong emphasis on water and wastewater applications.This position suits a proactive, detail-oriented individual with solid project management skills, ready to work in fast-paced, challenging environments.Role and Responsibilities: Designing and implementing automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and SCADA, specifically tailored for water and wastewater applications.Leading projects from initial planning to final handover, ensuring quality and timeliness at every stage.Creating comprehensive technical documentation and reports to support project management and compliance.Ensuring that all work adheres to company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards, especially as they pertain to water and wastewater industry regulations.Qualifications and Skills: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience, preferably with projects involving water, wastewater, or other related industries.A proactive approach with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.A valid Driver's License.Experience: Working with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.Familiarity with SCADA systems such as PlantSCADA (CitectSCADA) and FactoryTalk View Suite.Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, E-plan, etc.Background in sectors such as Water, Wastewater, or Environmental Engineering.Registration with Engineers Australia.Why Join Us?
