The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) supports the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in building the local face of Red Bull in their field in the most relevant way and in line with the global and national strategies and priorities. They work with the FMM to build strong local networks including opinion-leaders and key influencers both online (social media) and offline. They help to create and implement marketing initiatives in the four key pillars of the marketing mix (Student Marketing, Sports, Culture and Red Bull Media Network) leveraging On Premise, Off Premise and New Business opportunities and encompassing local needs and specificities and therefore impacting the heart of local consumers, ultimately leading to the successful development of the business. The FMS is constantly out ‘in the field’ to make things happen.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
1. Manage a team of 8 casually employed Student Marketeers to grow Brand Love and Can Love across local Universities campuses and all relevant playgrounds where student life shows up (with a primary focus on Music, Dance and Gaming). Operate as an aspirational leader within the team, providing support, leadership and coaching to your team with an ultimate view to nurture talent through the business. Manage the team’s performance against key metrics including the sampling of Red Bull product and supporting our sales teams. Lead recruitment and training of new members to the team.
2. Support the FMM in creating and supporting key events, scenes, and marketing opportunities in line with Red Bull brand values and relevant to the local consumer and media landscape, with a focus on participation. Take the lead on developing and executing specific national and regional Red Bull owned Sports, Culture & Brand programs in VICTAS (with a particular focus on Music, Dance and Gaming).
3. Build and maintain a comprehensive network of online and offline opinion leaders, experts and creators. This could range from key stakeholders at local University campuses, scene experts in the Gaming, Music and Dance scenes, or content creators who help us to get the message of our product and brand out to the right audiences.
4. Work collaboratively with our HQ specialist departments (Sport, Culture, Brand, Red Bull Media Network) and our local sales teams to drive new users into the business and grow Red Bull’s Brand Love and market share vs competitors. This could include managing the Student Marketing team to provide support to our sales teams, identifying new local community opportunities for us to leverage with our tools and assets or winning a new core scene in a particular playground i.e. Gaming.
5. Proven experience with people management and leading teams
6. An understanding of the core scenes in Victoria and/or Tasmania
7. Strong people/networking/collaboration skillset
8. Experience planning, managing and executing events
9. Work experience and/or established network within the Music, Dance and Gaming scenes is highly favourable
10. Travel 20-30%
