Job Title: Lead Network Planning Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Network Planning Engineer to join our Distribution Network Strategy & Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Australia's energy landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver economic and strategic solutions to keep the AusNet network ahead in a rapidly changing energy landscape.
* Meticulously assess network constraints, leveraging analysis to develop viable solutions and augmentation strategies.
* Lead initiatives such as Regulatory Investment Tests and Electricity Distribution Price Reset proposals.
* Mastery of intricate calculations, including DLF and NGERs, is essential.
* Develop comprehensive planning processes to assess network capabilities and identify areas of limitation.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification and experience in Engineering.
* Experience in contemporary electricity network planning, asset management practices, and overarching markets.
* Proficiency in using electricity network analysis tools or relevant software.
* Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Sound knowledge of National Electricity Rules, the energy markets, and relevant laws, regulations, rules, licences, and agreements.
