The Position
1. Assist in the planning and preparation of food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
2. Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
3. Contribute to the development of menu ideas using local fresh ingredients
4. Assist in the mentoring of the kitchen team
5. Monitor and order stock and minimize food wastage
THE PERSON
6. Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
7. Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check
8. Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture
9. Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
10. Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
11. Experience in menu development and costing
