Geelong based role (Hybrid working model)About the roleThe Finance Business Partner will manage stakeholder relationships and in-depth analytics on behalf of the Financial Planning & Analytics team within Finance. This role will partner with Project/Program Managers, Senior Leaders and People Leaders within their respective business units to influence business decision making by providing quality financial reporting and insights.Key AccountabilitiesPrepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts through close consultation with project teams and operational management, identifying opportunities and providing insights needed to drive performance as well as ensuring alignment to WorkSafe’s Strategic & Corporate Plans and relevant business and project plans.Apply complex, tailored financial assessment methodologies and models to assist in decision making and determination of actions to improve financial performance, including project / program costing, feasibility assessments and scenario evaluations.Ensure compliance with project financial frameworks and provide financial support and advice to projects and programs, including costing projects, performing business case reviews and financial analysis and monitoring.Deliver solutions to business issues by undertaking robust, deep dive financial analysis on operating costs and service delivery resource allocation, resulting in provision of suitable options for adoption that fall within approved financial parameters.Prepare and present monthly forward looking financial dashboard reports to Senior Leaders and People Leaders, highlighting risks and opportunities and resolving any financial related issues.About youYou are an experienced finance professional who wants to make a difference. Your conflict resolution and negotiation skills ensure that you are driving exceptional financial outcomes.
