The Team Leader Ancillary Services will ensure the provision of efficient, effective and safe catering, cleaning, laundry and maintenance services for young people and staff that meets all relevant legislative requirements.
This role is responsible for day-to-day operations including performance management, planning, rostering, financial awareness and ensuring a continuous quality improvement cycle is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership and guidance to Kitchen Services and Supervisor Ancillary Services for daily supervision and coordination of catering, cleaning, laundry and maintenance staff.
* Roster management, performance development planning and managing performance when necessary.
* Contribute to defined service quality standards, occupational health and work policies and procedures.
* Support Manager, Business Services in planning, maintaining a quality management system and supporting staff practices.
* Undertake evidence-based decision-making and problem-solving for overall Ancillary services delivery.
* Facilitate a team approach to Ancillary service delivery and promote an environment that supports and empowers staff.
* Collaborate with Manager Business Services for sound financial management, resource planning and decision making.
* Act as a role model and mentor to motivate, develop and retain a skilled workforce.
* Participate in ongoing evaluation and revision of Ancillary service provision to continuously improve systems, processes and procedures.
