Job Description: As a Forklift Operator / Order Picker, you will play a vital role in the warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing both your LF forklift license and potentially LO order picker ticket to efficiently pick orders for our esteemed food manufacturing client. Additionally, you will be adept at using EPJ's and RF Scanners to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenges of working in cold storage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operating LF forklifts and LO order pickers to pick orders accurately and efficiently
2. Using EPJ's and RF Scanners to facilitate order picking processes
3. Working in a cold storage FMCG environment while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene
4. Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
6. Participating in pre-employment screening as required
Qualifications and Skills:
7. Must hold a valid LF forklift license (essential)
8. LO order picker ticket advantageous but not required
9. Previous experience working in a cold storage FMCG environment is highly desirable
10. Unlimited working rights in Australia
11. Valid driver's license (Learner's Permit not accepted) and access to reliable transportation
12. Flexibility to work casual shifts Monday to Friday
13. Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to meeting job requirements
14. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
15. Strong communication skills and attention to detail
