We serve more than 500,000 people through the efforts of more than 9000 staff and volunteers across more than 20 sites.MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.About the roleThe Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) are responsible for provision of contemporary education and training opportunities for nursing and other direct care workforces across Barwon Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Service.The role will provide clinical supervision to Entry to Practice nurses, and other learning and development support to ensure effective mental health, drugs and alcohol service delivery.About youBachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent formal professionally recognised qualifications in Psychiatric NursingCurrent registration with APHRA as a Division 1 nurse.Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in mental health nursing, AOD, education or similarCertificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (minimum education and training qualification) or working toward successful completionDemonstrated experience and/or interest in education, teaching and learning processesAt least 5 years full time experience working within mental health services.Experience working as a trained clinical (professional) supervisor in a mental health settingAbout the cultureYou will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional and dedicated team who take pride in providing high quality services.
