What we are looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification within Hospitality or Commercial Cookery.
* A minimum of 2 years in a similar position or experience as Commis, Demi Chef or Cook.
* Engage in general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking duties.
* Ensure compliance with WH&S procedures
* Support the sous chef & head chef with planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Ensure a safe & hygienic work environment and train junior chefs on these procedures
* Availability for a 7-day rotating roster (hours are shared depending on availability, between open, mid and closing shifts)
