This role develops and executes test cases and identifies defects to ensure applications are reliable and meet solution requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Developing detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and detailed design documents. Executing tests to validate functionality, including regression testing to ensure new changes or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases and test results. Identifying, documenting and reporting defects found during testing. Managing defects through Test Management Tool (Azure DevOps), and proactively drive defects and blockers to resolution. Conducting tool analysis, making recommendations and selections. Utilising efficient and effective processes and standards to continuously improve quality. Participating in Code Reviews and Quality Gate definitions. Coordinating and collaborating with client teams for completion of integration and user acceptance testing. Identifying and analyzing suitable opportunities for test automation. Designing and implementing automation frameworks and approaches.
