CQUniversity’s Finance Directorate is responsible for providing effective accounting support to the Corporate Budget and Financial Accounting Teams, including maintaining and developing the University’s Financial Management System, and Budget and Forecasting System. This includes assisting with budget preparation, coordination, consolidation, and monitoring of the University’s operating budgets and forecasts, as well as preparing monthly financial reports and supporting management personnel.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the University's financial operations. Your primary objective will be to assist with budget and forecasting activities, deliver exceptional financial support, and ensure accurate financial reporting. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant experience in financial analysis and reporting, and expertise in using large corporate Finance Management Information Systems. You will confidently manage financial data, adhere to university guidelines, and consistently uphold a high standard of service.

Position Requirements
12. Knowledge of management, accounting (budgeting, forecasting), and finance policy, preferably in higher education.
13. A relevant degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Commerce; or an associate diploma with at least two years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and develop strategies.
15. Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising across organisational levels.
16. Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and using finance systems and software.
