Employee Relations and Workplace Advisory Lead (VPS 6.1) We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employee Relations and Workplace Advisory Lead to join our client's team in a pivotal role at VPS 6.1 level. This hybrid position, based in Melbourne, offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on workplace relations and employee behaviour practices within the Victorian Public Service. The role will initially run asap until 30 Sept 2025, with flexible working arrangements including 2 in-office days anchor days and a third day based on stakeholder needs, alongside two days of remote work. Key Responsibilities: Strengthen the EPA's complaints management and dispute resolution practices by designing and implementing internal resolution processes. Manage an increasing volume of workplace relations cases, ensuring timely and positive resolutions from start to finish. Lead case management, driving end-to-end change management activities, including communication plans, impact assessments, consultations, and more. Partner with external providers to refresh workplace behaviour training for people leaders and staff, incorporating real-world examples and setting clear expectations for leadership and bystander action. Develop and deliver an eLearning model for Workplace Behaviour Training for new starters, and a tailored training package for new leaders. Provide regular progress reports and status updates on case management to key stakeholders. Key Selection Criteria: Proven experience in Human Resources project management or change management, particularly in employee and industrial relations. Mandatory experience within the Victorian Public Service (VPS6). Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing Clause 11 of the VPS Enterprise Agreement 2024. Strong background in policy development and staff training programs. Expertise in case management and handling investigation matters with a keen eye for detail and resolution. Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
