Responsibilities: Create and design seafood-focused menus that highlight fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Lead and manage the kitchen team, overseeing daily operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Ensure consistency in every dish that leaves the kitchen, from preparation to plating. Monitor kitchen inventory, ensuring all ingredients are stored correctly and used efficiently to minimize waste. Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee food safety and sanitation practices, maintaining compliance with health regulations. Maintain a high level of creativity and innovation in seafood dish creation while embracing seasonal trends. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a strong focus on seafood. Exceptional knowledge of seafood preparation, handling, and cooking techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train, and motivate a team. Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. A passion for sustainable and locally sourced seafood. Creativity and an eye for detail, with the ability to design and execute menu items that delight guests. Ability to work well under pressure, managing time and resources effectively.
