The role:
The Product Manager will join our established product team and be responsible for one of our newest software platforms in market. You will lead a cross-functional squad of developers, business analysts and designers to drive continuous iteration and delivery.
The successful candidate will possess strong technical experience and expertise in driving product innovation. Your goal is to deliver exceptional product performance and customer experiences within the automotive industry. You must perform market and user research to maintain the product vision and develop a strategic roadmap which ensures ongoing product-market-fit.
The role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, leadership, and the ability to drive a product initiative through vision, concept, development, launch, measurement and ongoing enhancement. The Product Manager will work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and ensure success.
Responsibilities:
* Spearhead your product vision and roadmap, being a strong advocate both internally and externally
* Lead a cross-functional squad of developers, business analysts and designers to drive continuous iteration and delivery of your product
* Immerse the team in the customer problem to be solved by proactively applying consumer, client and partner insights and analysis to identify product gaps and opportunities in the product portfolio
* With support from the Lead Product Manager, ensure your product roadmap aligns with the broader Cox Connected Ecosystem
* Develop a deep understanding of the automotive industry as it relates to your product/s, including main players, regulatory landscape, challenges, future direction and market opportunities
* Understand the commercial aspects of your product to develop pricing and positioning strategies
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor level qualification in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years B2B or B2C SaaS product management experience, with a strong technical background in digital retail or web app development
* Solid understanding of product analytics and how to use data to make informed decisions that will drive customer engagement and revenue growth
* Ability to analyse, interpret and simplify complex activities and/or information to implement new practices or develop new approaches
* Demonstrated stakeholder management and presentation skills and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders on product vision and roadmap
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical terminology into language that can be readily understood by non-technical audiences
