Experienced not-for-profit Accounts Officer required

Your new role
It is a three-week contract commencing 9th April 2025. You will be required to work three days per week for the duration of the assignment. You will be covering the existing Accounts Officer while they are on leave. As the sole Accounts Officer in the organisation, you will be assisting the Head of Finance to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. The role includes, but is not limited to:
* Assist with accounts payable - entering / scanning and confirming accurate invoice entry into MYOB accounting software and setting up for payment.
* Assist with the processing of donations from receipting our donors, reconciling Stripe and PayPal payments received and entering any offline receipts to Salesforce and MYOB.
* Reconciling accounts as required.
* General administration functions such as attending to the mail, banking, answering phones and filing.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accounts or Accounts Payable Officer in a not-for-profit organisation.
* Proven ability to enter accurate invoices within MYOB.
* Experience reconciling Stripe and PayPal.
* Great attention to detail.
* The ability to hit the ground running and learn quickly.
* Fantastic communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
* Be able to work 3 days/week in Queenscliff.
* Working with Childrens Check and Police check are essential.
