The Role
Underwrite General Liability and some Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability and Management Liability Insurance.
Develop long term sustainable relationships with brokers through own network, allocated brokers and in conjunction with the State Manager Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
1. Underwrite primarily General Liability Insurance
2. Underwrite some Financial Lines as required
3. Develop and build broker relationship
4. Participate in relevant professional organizations as a representative of the company
5. Ensure that budget goals are met in terms of revenue and expenses
6. Participate in goal setting, planning and executive decision-making
The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience
7. 10 years of Insurance industry experience in underwriting and or broking
8. Experience marketing and general broker development
9. Excellent knowledge of Public and Products Liability
10. Ability to negotiate and/or approve insurance quotations
11. Risk aware but not adverse
12. Excellent communications skills
