We are currently expanding our team and are looking for RNs who want to join our collaborative Anaesthetic & PACU team on a full-time basis.
As an experienced RN in Anaesthetics/PACU, your role will include:
o Deliver evidence-based care
o Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
o Ensure patient and staff safety
o Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey
o Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
o Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
o Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
o Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
o Act as a role model for Safe Practice

About You
o Current AHPRA registration
o 2 years’ RN experience in Anaesthetics/PACU Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, OR ENT surgery
o Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
o Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
o Excellent communication and customer service skills
o The ability to work well independently and within a team
o High level organisational skills to meet time constraints
o Strong clinical skillset
o Demonstrate the ability to show initiative Excellent communication skills
