This pivotal position is responsible for the overall performance of the faculty in learning and teaching, research productivity, and resource management.
The Executive Dean will ensure that all areas of the faculty operate efficiently and cohesively, contributing positively to the university's mission and values.
The Executive Dean will foster opportunities for the growth within the faculty, by establishing and advancing linkages and relationships with industry, government, professional bodies, education partners and our diverse regional communities.
As a member of the Senior Executive Committee, the Executive Dean will contribute to the overall strategic development of the University to build skills and knowledge, research performance and strengthen our community connections in our regions.

About us The Faculty of Arts and Education is one of three Faculties within the University.
Six Schools and Centres offer a diversity of courses in education, communication, social work and human services, library and information studies, theology, humanities, Indigenous Australian studies and Islamic studies.
With over 10,000 students, the Faculty is an innovator in online and blended learning modes.
Over 200 academic staff deliver distinctive courses, and are supported by a skilled team of professional staff.
