CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate services, is hiring a Global Engineering & Facilities Management Director for our team in Sydney, Australia.
As the Global Engineering & Facilities Management Lead, you will be responsible for driving the standardization of best practices across our FM and Engineering portfolio for a renowned, key financial client. This includes managing a team that oversees FM and Engineering services in 4 regions, 30 countries, and 80 client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with key client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of CBRE contractual operational requirements.
Manage and communicate effectively with the team to deliver all FM and Engineering services in line with contractual requirements.
Ensure operations are compliant with local standards and regulations, as well as client and CBRE requirements.
Drive efficient and safe operation and maintenance of engineering systems.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to improve operational delivery and achieve operational excellence.
Implement sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in banking & finance facilities or critical engineering environments.
Strong understanding of critical environment, electrical, and HVAC infrastructure.
Thorough knowledge of WHS risk management.
Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Contractually astute and able to work within contractual requirements.
