Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023.
Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risk the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry stand out with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project.

Job Description
You will provide day to day survey control to the mining operations. This role will also provide mentorship, support and supervision to the Mine Surveyors and assist with the management of survey control to ensure industry best practice.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Develop and implement safe work systems and procedures for all survey activities at Bellevue
* Provide direction, leadership and support to the Mine Surveyors
* Maintain accurate and up to date mine survey records
* Ensure Survey department compliance with WHS Regulations, WHS Act and Mine Survey Code of Practice
* Maintain survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustment parameters
* Ensure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible
* Produce Mine Plans for regulatory submissions
* Provide quality assurance and supervision of the Survey control network
* Carry out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development, production and diamond drilling activities
* Produce survey plans and memos as required to a high standard and in a timely manner
* Conduct CMS surveys as required and validate results
* Compile end-of-month surveys and reports in a timely and accurate manner
* Complete and assist with aerial survey work as required
* Conduct surface set outs and pickups as required
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies:
* Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying
* WA Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency - Grade 1 or the ability to obtain it
* Experienced in a mechanized hard-rock underground mine
* Previous supervisory experience
* Good skills in spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database applications
* Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations and Mine Survey Code of Practice
* Possess strong leadership skills and safety-focused attitude
* Competent in Deswik
* Current C Class WA Driver’s License
