About the Role
Parker Hannifin Australia Pty Limited seeks an experienced Inventory Planner to join their team in Castle Hill, NSW.
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's inventory management processes to support its manufacturing and logistics operations.
This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of a leading global engineering company.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse inventory data and demand forecasts to develop efficient inventory plans that balance supply and demand:
* Monitor inventory levels, identify potential stock-outs or excess, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory levels
* Develop and maintain inventory policies, procedures, and reporting to support business requirements
Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components:
* Implement and oversee inventory control systems and processes to improve accuracy and visibility
* Identify opportunities for inventory optimization, such as reducing lead times, optimizing order quantities, and improving forecast accuracy
Provide regular reports and analysis to management on inventory performance and make recommendations for improvement:
* Work closely with stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and implement solutions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science and Analytics, or a related field
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning or demand planning
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis tools
* Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
