About the role
BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is seeking Carers to join their team on a casual basis. As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts.
Duties may include:
1. Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
2. Assistance with medication
3. Simple wound dressing
4. Assistance with activities under supervision
5. Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
6. Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
7. Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
8. OR willing to complete Certificate- Traineeships on offer to eligible candidates

About Kintyre Lodge
Located in the vibrant regional city of Dubbo, BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is a welcoming, homely aged care home, offering 81 single bedrooms.
The Lodge, which is located next to, offers 24-hour care and support to residents, catering to all needs and requirements - including residential respite. The home also features a specialised Memory Care Wing for residents living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Our lifestyle team at Kintyre Lodge run a fun and stimulating leisure activities program which includes bingo, exercise classes, craft, games, and outings, with the option for residents to participate as much or as little as they like.
All meals are cooked fresh onsite by our professional catering team, with a variety of nutritionally balanced menu options available each day.
