We are keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you, who are interested in developing their engineering experience in the world of Nuclear Build, on a project close to Ipswich.We have a new opportunity for a Site Engineer with at least 3 years relevant experience to play an important role in achieving our vision of delivering smarter, greener infrastructure brilliantly.Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:Setting out of the detailed works as per drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis.Assisting with task briefings.Checking Inspection Test Plans and ensuring that installation on site is correct according to specifications.Resolving technical problems at all levels.Quality Control including populating inspection checklists and ITPs.Ensuring quality control is adhered to and activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.Liaising with Site/Project Manager regarding methods, QA, and testing requirements.Assisting the Site/Project Manager in selection and methods of construction and producing RAMS for approval with practical knowledge.Ensuring management and compliance with company procedures and policies.Liaising with the HSEQ Team regarding work task methods.We would love to hear from you if you are:Ambitious, driven, and willing to learn.You will need a CSCS Card and 'set out' and surveying experience, including Total Station & GPS, with the skill to utilise AutoCAD and draft as-builts (Civils 3D experience beneficial).Ideally, you will have experience drafting safe systems of work (RAMS, WPPs, etc.) or Quality Documentation.Civils / Power/ Energy Background (ideally Substation, Power Cabling, Electrical Fit Out type work).NEC3 Experience.Setting Out, writing RAMS, completing ITPs.CEng MICE or working towards it.Our CompanyEvery day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.
