Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has been created for a Service and Commissioning Manager at GTE Technology. Embedded in our sales team, this role will bridge any gap between our service and spare parts customers and our technical teams, while supporting team members working at customer sites.
The purpose of the role is to:
Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments Install electronic instruments and control systems Respond to service and spare parts customer enquires Support onsite works through planning and booking logistics Prepare teams to conduct onsite works at customer locations through pre-briefings and issuing of required equipment, resources and technology Support Sales and Company Directors Improve processes and procedures within Service and Commissioning function; and Keep accurate records and comply with statutory regulations Proactively contact customers to schedule service requirements and arrange periodical orders Support production engineering with service and spare parts manufacturing requires and releasing service and spare parts in to manufacture Obtain supplier quotes for service and spare parts requirements To be considered for the role you must have:
A sound mechanical aptitude Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP usage and computers overall A customer-centric approach with high attention to detail The ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and effectively manage competing and changing priorities while understanding the impact of your role on others Exemplary organisational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
