About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to to enhance and support Central Patient Intake Unit (CPIU) administrative processes and functions, and support local service improvement initiatives, training and administration procedures within the unit. The role monitors key IT software systems, creation and maintenance of local data reports and auditing that supports efficient, effective, and professional services are delivered to all customers for Outpatient referral management into Metro North Health (MNH).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
1. Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, procedures, processes, and work practices in the unit.
2. Support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Senior Admin Officer (SAO) to resolve day-to-day operational issues and contribute to quality improvement activities.
3. Ability to demonstrate high level communication skills and build appropriate relationships with team members, clients, and key stakeholders.
