What We Are Looking For:
* Strong experience in payroll operations and administration, including pay processing, reporting, and SAP HR functions.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team and provide expert payroll advice.
* High-level analytical skills to extract, interpret, and present payroll data effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
* Prior experience managing payroll-related projects and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Pay and Conditions team to deliver high-quality payroll services.
* Oversee payroll administration, including pay processing, leave provisions, reporting, and SAP system functions.
* Provide expert advice and assistance in relation to the SAP system and pay and conditions function and solve problems associated with client service delivery ensuring required timeframes are met.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations and reporting.
* Manage and implement payroll system upgrades, liaising with contractors and technical teams.
* Contribute to policy development and business improvement initiatives within the payroll function.
* Extract, analyse, and present data to inform business decisions.
