Women's and Children's Health Network, 3D Health, Sub-Acute and Allied Health – Mile End 5031 Salary - AHP3 - Allied Health Professional L3 - $104,180 to $111,746 Employment – Full Time – Contract until 9 May 2025 About the Opportunity An Exciting opportunity exists within 3D Health Team to join us as a Senior Social Worker - Neurodiversity Education Health Collaborative (NEHCo) full time, until 9 May 2025. The Senior Social Worker: Provides clinical expertise for parents, students, and their families, with neurodevelopmental disability and complex needs, and/or associated behaviours of concern. Primarily provides direct expert care for an individual or group of clients and clinical leadership to multidisciplinary staff. Who through education and experience can effectively ensure and provide quality services to clients, families experiencing complex, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, within a multidisciplinary and interagency team context. Contributes to improvement in the quality, safety and community needs driven within a specific service area. Works with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders on service delivery development and practice requirements to meet client needs and demands. Works with all allied health staff, nursing and medical staff, as well as other stakeholders on service delivery development, and practice requirements to meet service needs and demands. Has accountability for delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, comprehensive, high quality social work services for clients referred to 3D Health across the state of South Australia. Educates, guides and clinically supervise assigned social work staff and social work students. About You Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which gives eligibly for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience working with clients with complex psychosocial needs, disability and behaviours of concern. Demonstrated ability to carry out assessments and interventions of a highly complex nature using a range of theoretical models in assessment, intervention and therapy. A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrated ability to apply skills in analysing and resolving complex clinical problems. Demonstrated ability to undertake a range of social work interventions including high quality written psychosocial assessments, advocacy, therapeutic support and case management/care coordination including referral to other disciplines and agencies. Advanced knowledge in at least one area of clinical practice relevant to disability/complex health and or behaviours of concern. Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical work within the individual’s professional speciality area, including group work.
