About MBFG
We're a team of 33 professionals who do more than just Financial Planning —we handle all things finance. As a one-stop financial hub, you won’t have to navigate conflicting advice from multiple sources. Instead, you’ll collaborate directly with in-house experts across:
1. Mortgage Broking
2. Tax & Accounting
3. Bookkeeping
4. Property Management
5. Financial Planning (that’s where you come in!)

The role would include:
* Assisting in the management of existing clients and onboarding new clients
* Collaborating with the financial planning team to achieve targets
* Engaging in seminars and delivering client presentations
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including completing necessary training to maintain adviser credentials
* Using your knowledge and experience to ensure that your advice is both compliant and optimises the client’s situation, assisting them to achieve their financial goals.
* Contributing to marketing initiatives to increase our clientele base
* A comprehensive understanding of compliance and ethical standards
* Maintaining accurate file notes in a timely manner and follow task process which MBFG are huge on
The successful applicant will have:
* Current FASEA requirements
* ASIC registration
* Minimum 2 year's experience as a financial adviser, ideally with a holistic planning firm
* Strong understanding of superannuation, tax, investments, insurance, debt management and cashflow advice
* Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
* A clear and organized approach to deliver thoughtful and strategic advice
* A passion for the value of financial advice and is motivated to help all walks of life, including providing cash flow and personal insurance advice for our younger clients.
