We are looking for:Associate – SydneyResponsibilities:Dynamic and confident litigation lawyers with demonstrated experience in construction litigation.Opportunity to engage in front-end work, so transactions experience is highly regarded, although not essential.Opportunity to engage in Commercial Litigation work.Around 2-4 years construction law experience for the junior role and 5+ years for the senior role, ideally obtained in a mid-tier or boutique construction practice.Attention to detail and strong time and file management skills.Team player, client and results focused.Knowledge of standard form contracts and experience in advising on these and on bespoke construction and related contracts.Experience advising on contracts administration during project delivery including drafting of notices, devising strategy, and managing legal and project risk.Experience with and a solid understanding of the security of payment regime in at least one jurisdiction (NSW, Victoria or QLD).An understanding of court and tribunal processes in at least one jurisdiction (NSW, Victoria or QLD).A willingness to learn work across new jurisdictions.Pre-Admission Experience:Applicants with at least 1-year PQE are encouraged to apply if they have accrued at least 1 year pre-admission experience within a construction law practice.Preferred Skills:Senior roles will also require successful candidates to be willing to participate in the development of PCL's construction practice including engaging in business development and a willingness to grow and manage your own practice.Pay range and compensation package:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a specialized legal field.Flexible work arrangements and a supportive, collaborative work environment.Access to cutting-edge legal technology and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.If you are interested in this role and believe you meet the criteria above, please forward your resume to us at ******.
