We are partnering exclusively to find one of our clients their next Site Manager.
The client in question are a builder developer who have been active in the South East Queensland area for the last 14 years, running successful boutique residential projects such as townhouses. They are looking to bring on a construction site manager to oversee the full cycle of their building process, from inception to completion.
The role:
The company build 2-3 projects at the one time within a single plot and the projects are valued up to around the $3 million mark. You will be responsible for the initial stages of the projects and will be on the tools for the framing aspects at the beginning, then after you will move to overseeing the projects and subcontractors involved for the rest of the build. The current pipeline is based mostly in South Brisbane but preparation to travel all over the city is key.
About you:
- As you will be the main person in charge of the build, you will already be an experienced site manager and have worked on projects of similar value and nature
- Confident in your ability to lead a team of subcontractors and apprentices according to a strict time line for the project
- Reporting to the director you will be able to give updates on costs and time frames and overall progress, the project is in your hands
- Ideally with own Ute already, arrangements for payment for fuel will be made if required
- Not afraid to get on the tools in the beginning of a project
- Desire to join an established builder and develop oneself
