This project represents a significant leap forward for the bank, aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join the team for a 12-month project.
About the Role
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery and release management of the new banking platform. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Keeping a comprehensive overview of the project and its activities to guarantee a dependable and strong solution.
2. Handling the triage of new issues as they come up, ensuring they are resolved swiftly and effectively.
3. Supervising the transition of processes from implementation support stages to the Bank’s Service Management frameworks.
4. Facilitating clear and effective communication during major incidents to ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved.
5. Making sure that SLAs are suitable for both new and existing systems, and integrating these into SLA reports for project and technology leadership.
6. Preparing detailed reports for Service Owners, showcasing adherence to the Bank’s Service Management processes, and identifying any exceptions or breaches of process and SLA.
About You
7. Extensive experience in service delivery, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
8. Proven ability to maintain a comprehensive view of complex projects, ensuring all activities are aligned with project goals and timelines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage the triage and resolution of new issues effectively.
10. Excellent communication skills, capable of facilitating clear and concise business communications during major incidents.
11. In-depth understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and experience incorporating these into reporting for leadership teams.
12. Previous experience in lending projects is highly desirable.
13. Experience in working with multiple internal teams and external vendors to deliver a cohesive and effective solution.
