We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Director to oversee our Centres and lead a team of Area Directors in achieving our commercial, people, and quality objectives.
Role Overview:As Operations Director, you'll lead the way in driving performance across a diverse portfolio, ensuring we meet our financial, quality, and educational goals.
Your leadership will empower our Area Directors to build high-performance teams, innovate for continuous improvement, and uphold our commitment to quality care and education.
You'll be a key partner to the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring that every Centre delivers on Busy Bees' values and standards, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support Area Directors in achieving commercial, people, and quality objectives through effective structures and development plans.Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement across all Centres.Ensure financial targets are met by reviewing data, identifying trends, and optimizing profitability.Oversee the compliance and safety standards across all Centres, ensuring adherence to regulations.Drive quality outcomes by embedding national quality standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in daily operations.Develop and implement strategies to address performance gaps and improve underperforming Centres.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the industry to stay ahead of trends and regulatory changes.Champion Busy Bees' core values, ensuring they are reflected in all programs, services, and leadership practices.What We're Looking For:Experience: You bring substantial experience in leading large-scale multi-site operations, managing P&L, and driving commercial and quality outcomes.
You've led senior teams and have a track record of building high-performance cultures in regulated environments.Leadership: You possess strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and developing senior leaders.
You have a passion for empowering others to excel and an eye for continuous improvement.Strategic & Commercial Acumen: You are highly skilled in financial and budget management, with a knack for optimizing commercial performance and identifying areas for cost-saving without compromising on quality.Compliance & Risk Management: You have in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as the Australian Children's Education and Care Framework (EYLF), Early Childhood Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management (highly desirable).
