The Position:
1. Management of all village operations including administration, catering and cleaning services
2. Ensuring all aspects of service delivery in accordance with the contract for services
3. Ensuring strong leadership to deliver quality service through operational and people performance
4. Maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining strict cost control measures
5. Maintaining consistent operational and people performance across site
6. Ensure adequate resourcing and rostering for all services to be delivered at site
7. Ensure a strong site safety culture and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
8. Developing a high-performance culture through an engaged team that understand and are committed to service delivery and ISS values
9. Support the ongoing development of your team to promote a flexible work environment where cross-skilling and upskilling of the team is valued
10. Ensure performance management of team members is undertaken following established policies and procedures

Minimum Criteria:
19. Ability to undertake regular travel to site on a DIDO/FIFO roster
20. Ability to work in a remote and physically demanding environment
21. Proven experience managing mining camp/village operations or an extensive hospitality management background.
22. Previous catering, accommodation management experience or chef qualifications are highly desirable
23. Demonstrated experience as a strong and decisive leader in a dynamic operating environment
24. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a range of stakeholder relationships and delivering to plan
25. Ability to build and develop an engaged and effective service delivery team
26. Solutions focused - proven ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities.
27. Financial acumen – experience in understanding budgets, managing P&L, labour/resourcing allocation and cost control
28. Knowledge of workplace health & safety requirements and embedding a strong safety culture
29. Experience in recruitment, retention and rostering
30. Organised – outcome and deadline oriented.
31. Strong and effective communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
32. High level of computer literacy and experience in managing village accommodation systems
33. Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements
34. Possess an Australian drivers licence
