Overview: As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities by effectively planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities. You will be responsible for optimizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maximizing asset performance through strategic planning and coordination with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Planning: Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for equipment, machinery, and facilities based on manufacturer recommendations, historical data, and industry best practices.Schedule Coordination: Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and other departments to schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities in a manner that minimizes disruptions to production and operations.Resource Allocation: Determine the necessary resources, including labour, materials, tools, and equipment, required to execute maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.Work Order Management: Create and prioritize work orders, ensuring clear instructions, detailed specifications, and accurate documentation to facilitate smooth execution of maintenance activities.Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities, coordinating procurement and replenishment as needed.Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during maintenance activities, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures to mitigate hazards.Performance Analysis: Analyze maintenance performance metrics, such as equipment uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR), to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize maintenance processes.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the maintenance planning and scheduling function, implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or related field preferred.Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing, industrial, or facility management environment.Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, techniques, and methodologies.Proficiency in maintenance management software systems (MEX) for work order generation, scheduling, and inventory management.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve maintenance performance.Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career advancementDynamic and collaborative work environmentChance to make a meaningful impact on operational efficiency and asset performance.If you require further information not mentioned above, please contact Caroline Taylor at Logical Executive Solutions on (03) ******** .
