The ESO will be required to maintain a comprehensive understanding of current government processes (including Whole-of-Australian Government travel and procurement policies).To be considered for these roles you will need the following essential criteria:Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.Proven organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines, and accurately complete work with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across various mediums, including the ability to convey information to a wide range of audiences.Competence in using office technologies and software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Planner), Microsoft Teams, and record management systems (e.g. Objective).Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and to work collaboratively with the other executive support staff to foster a supportive and results-oriented environment.Strong capacity to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.The following desirable criteria will also be assessed:Relevant experience in a secretariat, governance or administration role, or experience as an Executive Assistant to a Senior Executive in the Australian Public Service.Contact UsAt the APVMA, we value your skills and potential.
