This is an autonomous role where you can demonstrate your knowledge and experience in all things payroll. Whilst an autonomous role, you will be an important member of the College Finance and Human Resources Team. To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in managing a high volume complex payroll function; be an expert with payroll systems and accounting practices with advanced Excel skills; proven experience in understanding and interpreting industrial instruments; have the energy to adapt and meet priorities in a fast paced environment. Your work will be accurate, while providing friendly and professional service. Process and administer end-to -end all fortnightly salaries, personal, parental and long service leave, superannuation, salary sacrifice, fortnightly and monthly journals for the College;Administer alterations to payroll such as taxation, superannuation, deductions, bank changes and personal details; Process accurately any pay calculations, additional hours, casual and overtime claim forms, leave forms' complying with current Enterprise Agreement provisions for the calculation of salary steps/grades and allowances for staff;Process payroll deductions, manual timesheets and other payroll related variances; andPayroll data reporting to ensure accuracy and audit requirements are met.Experience using the system Dayforce/Preceda will be considered advantageous.The successful applicant must also complete our child-safe screening processes, including holding a Working with Children Clearance.Please visit our website https://www.shc.sa.edu.au/our-college/employment/ for more details about the position and the application process.
