In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise will help keep Australia's mining industry moving. Key Responsibilities: Perform fabrication, welding, and repairs on mobile plant equipment, including:Bucket refurbishmentsTray repairsGeneral fabrication workConduct inspections and diagnose faults on mining equipment.Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality repairs.Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant standards.Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.Provide input on maintenance schedules and strategies to optimise equipment performance. About You: Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.3-5+ years of experience in mobile plant maintenance or similar roles.Proficiency in welding techniques, including flux core and inner-shield welding.Experience with bucket refurbishments, tray repairs, and structural work on heavy equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.Valid Australian driver's licence (HR licence preferred).Full working rights in Australia.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance.
