We are partnering with a dynamic organisation who are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Head of Construction to lead their preconstruction and project delivery team. Specializing in the Aged Care and Private Education sectors, this role is critical in ensuring design coordination, cost certainty, and efficient execution through their streamlined project-delivery methodologies.
Your new role:
1. Develop detailed project budgets, schedules, and feasibility analyses
2. Oversee full lifecycle project management to ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence
3. Design and implement standardized systems and workflows for efficiency
4. Grow, lead, and mentor a small construction team
5. Build relationships with subcontractors, fostering a culture of excellence
6. Collaborate with clients and consultants to drive long-term partnerships
7. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
8. Research and integrate innovative construction methods and technologies
9. Reporting and budget control
10. Coordinate relevant documentation between stakeholders
11. Project scheduling and site management
About you:
1. Proven leadership in construction project management
2. Strong expertise in preconstruction planning and execution
3. Ability to challenge conventional building methods with innovative solutions

7. Experience in live environment construction projects is a plus
