About the Roles:
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the funded kindergarten programs within our long day care setting. This role involves working in partnership with the leadership team to plan a rich and diverse educational program including community excursions and in-house incursions and programs.
We are a purpose-built facility in the heart of Drouin, Victoria centrally located next to Drouin Primary School. Our studios are spacious and are filled with natural light. Here, children have the opportunity to learn through play with stimulating resources and materials where they can explore, experiment, discover and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways. Our team at Grant Street are passionate advocates for children. They are dedicated to providing a safe, joyful environment that nurtures relationships and each child’s holistic development as they move through their years at Sparrow.
What you’ll need:
* Bachelor of Education (in Early Childhood Education) and VIT Registration
* High-level knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards,
* Current & Valid Working with Children check
* First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
* Experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests
