As we expand our product line and push the boundaries of remote monitoring, we’re looking for a Firmware Developer to join our team!About the RoleAs a Firmware Developer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing firmware for our next-generation remote monitoring devices. You’ll work closely with our hardware and software teams to develop efficient, reliable, and scalable embedded solutions. If you have experience with low-power, wireless communication and embedded systems, we’d love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize firmware for embedded systems using FreeRTOS and PlatformIO.Implement and debug Bluetooth (BLE) and LoRaWAN communication protocols.Work on low-power design strategies for battery-operated IoT devices.Integrate firmware with cloud-based remote monitoring platforms.Perform testing, debugging, and validation of firmware on embedded hardware.Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize firmware/hardware interaction.Ideal CandidateStrong experience in embedded C/C++ development.Proficiency with FreeRTOS and PlatformIO.Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and LoRaWAN.Understanding of low-power design for battery-powered devices.Familiarity with MCUs ( Nordic ).Experience with firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Why Join Us?Work on innovative remote monitoring technology for critical infrastructure.Be part of a growing, fast-paced startup with exciting opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits.Enjoy a flexible, supportive work environment in Palmerston, NT.
