The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane Family Law team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support two highly credentialed and respected partners, Alexandra Moles and Rachael Murray. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Preparing legal documents and letters;
2. Diary management;
3. Dictaphone typing using Bighand;
4. Billing – amending bills and creating letters;
5. Filing;
6. Archiving;
7. Safe custody;
8. Formatting of documents;
9. File management including liaising with clients, barristers, family report writers, mediators, etc.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or a genuine interest in family law. You will possess solid administration experience in a professional services environment. The successful applicant will be an integral member of a cohesive and collaborative team. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail, a proven history of meeting deadlines, and strong commercial acumen.
