The role: The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the Northern Cancer Service.
This role will suit candidates with significant clinical experience in cancer care nursing who are committed to extending the knowledge and skills of nurses, and are able to lend their creativity and expertise to lead and inspire others to realise excellent patient outcomes.

The team: The North West Cancer Centre in Burnie provides outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services to the community of North West Tasmania.
With the support of the community, the centre was redeveloped in 2016 with state of the art radiation therapy equipment and a 16 chair chemotherapy unit.
The clinic is situated in the North West Regional Hospital Burnie, providing access to a range of hospital services to deliver quality, person-centred cancer care.

Details of Appointment Permanent, part time, day worker position working 53.2 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $104,735 to $111,334 per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives Tasmanian State Service Agreement 2019 You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
