Assistant Farm Manager and Senior Farmhand
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced assistant farm manager and/or senior farmhand to join our team.
* Co-ordinate a team of staff and modern fleet of machinery
* Manage and execute farm operations, including crop production, farm maintenance, and irrigation
* Implement and oversee maintenance programs for farm equipment and machinery
* Train the team in the operation and maintenance of equipment
* Liaise with machinery and equipment dealers
* Work to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures
* Potential to oversee the cattle enterprise
Requirements:
* Competent machinery operator with solid mechanical background
* Broad understanding of dryland and irrigated cropping
* Good ratio of mechanical training, cropping, and/or sowing/harvest contractor experience
Working Conditions:
