Job Title:
Maintenance and Capital Works Programs Manager
About the Role:
The successful candidate will manage operations, maintenance, and capital works programs for roads, drainage, parks, and public spaces, ensuring a safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable service delivery.
This role is based in the scenic New England Region of New South Wales, where the organisation proactively supports employees and the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of project-based engineers, works and assets staff, and contractors.
* Develop, mentor, and encourage staff to achieve relevant outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, community groups on civil-related matters as required.
* Manage the initiation, planning, and delivery of multiple capital works projects.
* Develop and implement policies and strategies in alignment with legislation and industry guidelines.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in project and maintenance management across civil assets.
* Civil Engineering Degree with Professional Membership of Engineers Australia.
* Working experience in a leadership role in civil construction and road maintenance.
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
