We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart their electrical career.
As an Apprentice Electrician you will perform technical work on electrical and data cabling systems under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.
This is a 4-year apprenticeship that will require you to attend trade school in order to complete the off-the-job component of the Cert III in Electrotechnology.

Role overview
1. Assist their on-site manager with installation, reading and interpreting drawings / specifications, programming, testing, and commissioning of various electrical and cabling systems across commercial building sites and premises.
2. Work with a team of Tradesmen and Project Managers to successfully deliver electrical and communications projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project timeframes.
3. Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installation and maintenance.
4. Demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers of the Company.
5. Effectively manage administrative requirements including call reports and time sheets.
6. Attend shifts as per roster requirements.
7. Demonstrate aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools.
8. Understand written information and instructions and correspond clearly and concisely.
9. Understand inventory stock components used in the process of work and ensure parts are correctly booked out to the task.
10. Other duties as directed by your supervisor.
About you
11. Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology (required).
12. Construction induction card (required).
13. Current Australian drivers license (required).
14. Own vehicle (required).
15. Year 12 (required).
16. Proficient in English and Mathematics.
17. Other qualifications as appropriate.
18. Some prior work experience in a trade or customer service role is beneficial but not mandatory.
19. Ability to climb a ladder.
20. Ability to do overtime and shift work when required.
21. Ability to do work away from home / living remotely when required.
22. Ability to pass a national police and medical check.
