About the role:
In this role you will be responsible for the operational requirements of independent living communities within their portfolio to ensure a quality, customer-focused service.
* Serve as the first point of contact for all general enquiries, property management and apartment resales to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy, and foster a supportive, welcoming and engaging environment for residents and their guests
* Ensure staff supervision is effective and in line with Uniting AgeWell policies, procedures and expectations
* Ensure complaints and disputes are managed and resolved efficiently and effectively and in line with Uniting Age Well’s obligations.
* Ensure budgets are maintained within their portfolio (Resident & Minor works Budgets)
* Support and drive customer engagement and activation within communities
* Full time role supporting our Retirement Living units at Manningtree - Hawthorn
This is the place for you if you have:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Retirement or housing related environment supervision or relevant industry experience (desirable)
* Experience and expertise in relating to and managing a diverse range of people with a strong focus on customer service
* Understanding of the financial aspects of apartments and housing
* Excellent knowledge and experience in the Hotel environment/retirement village or residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents
* Experience in relating to a diverse range of people
* Willingness to be flexible in responding to requests and being the first point of contact for Residents, visitors and other Uniting AgeWell staff
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
* A current Working With Children’s Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain one
* Full Australian working rights
* A current Police Records Check/NDIS Clearance or be willing to undertake this process
* Current flu and ongoing vaccinations as required
