The Graduate Nurse Transition Program offers the transition from the student role through the provision of a comprehensive orientation program, Clinical Educators, preceptors study days and other unique learning opportunities.
About you
Calvary Riverina are looking for exceptional graduate nurses across the Riverina & Australia to join our team and we will give you the best first-year Transition to Professional Practice development program in return.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
Our Graduate Transition Program (GNTP) consists of 2 rotations of 6 month duration.
You will work closely with an allocated preceptor on each of your rotations.
You will be required to work a rotating roster which does include night duty. However, night duty will not occur until after the first 3 months of the program.

Calvary Riverina Private Hospital in Wagga Wagga, NSW, provides a range of services to the Riverina community including Calvary Riverina Surgicentre, maternity and women's health services and our award-winning drug and alcohol centre.

Selection Criteria
Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
High quality verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated empathy and understanding of patient centred care

Demonstrated understanding of safety and quality principles in healthcare
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills & experience
