JOB DESCRIPTIONAbout the teamThis is an amazing opportunity to work for Viva Energy Retail, Australia's largest single branded mobility and convenience retail network.It's a really exciting time to join with Viva Energy who are growing and diversifying through the recent acquisition of Coles Express and On The Run Group.We're all about helping people reach their destination, whether it's filling up your car, grabbing food to go, or topping up essential groceries, we're all about helping people reach their destination, we're here when you need us.About the roleAs the Town Planning Manager you will deliver store design, planning and site documentation outcomes in support of the VER network development pipeline, which comprise of capital works program and initiatives, asset integrity upgrades, major redevelopments along with minor refurbishments across a large and expansive portfolio of forecourt, fuel and convenience shop projects.You'll also:Develop town planning framework that supports rollout of projects at scaleProvide planning advice to support business and design decisions and prioritization of project activityCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver Town Planning outcomes in support of the project development pipeline for VERCo-ordinate reports and studies as required in support of planning processesTrack and report on progress of town planning applicationsDevelop relationships with approval and referral authorities in support of achieving desired outcomesEstablish & maintain relationships with key providers/consultants to support Town Planning applications and outcomesMentor Store Planners and Designers within the VER business to build understanding of Planning considerationsAbout you and your skillsWe are looking for a knowledgeable Town Planner with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast paced growth environments under a structured framework.You'll also have:Minimum 5 years of Town Planning experience of Commercial developmentsTertiary qualification in relevant areaExperience in at least one of retail, QSR or Service Station developments#LI-TP1#J-18808-Ljbffr
