Baker (experience not essential - will train on site)
We are a busy and well-known family-run bakery in Port Wakefield (approx 1 hour north of Adelaide) and are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to work full-time in our bakery with 4 other bakers/kitchen hands. We are looking for either a qualified baker or someone who has a stable work history and has an interest in giving this type of work a go. We will train on site for the right applicant.
The applicant will be required to start work at 4am and work a 40+ hour week plus do a 4 hour shift every second Saturday from 4am-8am. All overtime and penalty rates are paid accordingly. The applicant must be able to work public and school holidays, as these are our busiest periods, where hours may vary more than usual.
This role involves producing baked goods such as donuts, buns, and individual cakes as well as pies, pasties, and sausage rolls. The applicant may also be required to deliver products from our bakery to our shop as well as clean up at the end of the day. The applicant must be able to work effectively in a team environment where communication and efficiency is key, and they must be physically fit enough to be able to work on their feet for long periods of time.
